Hiring Procedure

  1. An email is sent out to all former staff to see if they would like to apply for their former position.  Supervisors will review applicants and individuals will be notified of any offers. 
  2. SCAMP will obtain a list of all interns, student teachers, and prestudent teachers from cooperating Universities and place them accordingly.
  3. Selected 2010 rehire applicants will be placed in openings.
  4. Open positions will be posted and the hiring application will begin in April/May. 

    Student teachers, interns and prestudent teachers have priority in staff placement.  

    Potential counselor candidates may be notified as late as the first week of SCAMP to ensure stable enrollment.  We know that many of you like to know earlier, however, SCAMP cannot hire any new staff unless enrollment and need exists.
