General Upper SCAMP Classroom Descriptions:
1) If a camper cannot function within a 3:1 ratios they are required to have one on one support provided through a school district or approved outside agency.
2) All classes require a minimum enrollment number and are subject to cancellation. The class may be broken into two classes or combined with another age group to better meet the needs of the children based on age, ability or other needs as deemed appropriate.
3) After the age of 6 we recommend that all campers be potty trained. Exceptions will be made for campers who are wheelchair bound. SCAMP will assist with toileting/changing in our health aid station with an additional para.
4) If a child comes to SCAMP and is wheelchair bound, they must come to SCAMP with their own one-on-one. Exceptions will be made for campers who can drive their own chair and based on the discretion of the SCAMP Coordinator.
5) Assistance will be given for changing and eating.
6) Age groups may be combined if classes do not reach a minimum number of enrolled.
